Tokyo Apartment Hotels with a Kitchen and In-Room Washer-Dryer

For a Tokyo room with both cooking equipment and private laundry, start with MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Asakusa or Nihombashi, MONday Apart Premium UENO or HAMAMATSUCHO, and Tokyu Stay Shibuya. The official pages list both facilities across the rooms at those properties. At Tokyu Stay Ginza, book the Residential Double. At MIMARU Tokyo Station East, choose a room with “Suite” in its name; its apartment categories use shared laundry.

The booking detail that matters is where the machine is. A hotel can have a kitchen in every room and still send guests to a communal laundry room. A microwave and refrigerator also do not establish that you can cook on a hob. Check the equipment for the category on your reservation, even when the hotel brand sounds familiar.

Equipment and room information checked against official pages on October 4, 2026. This is a comparison of published facilities, not a report of personal stays. Rates and availability are not ranked.

Room equipment

Choose your equipment first

  • Kitchen and private laundry in every room: the two MIMARU SUITES properties, the two MONday Apart Premium properties below, and the current Tokyu Stay Shibuya room list.
  • Kitchen and private laundry in selected rooms: Tokyu Stay Ginza Residential Double; MIMARU Tokyo Station East categories with “Suite” in the name.
  • Kitchen with shared laundry: MIMARU Tokyo Station East apartment categories, and standard MIMARU locations that are not on the official in-room laundry list. Confirm the property’s laundry facilities separately.

Decide how often you expect to cook and wash clothes before comparing hotel rates. A kitchen can help with breakfast, familiar meals for children, or a longer stay with repeated grocery trips. If you only plan to reheat takeaway and wash once, a microwave-equipped room and shared laundry may meet the same needs. Neither arrangement is automatically cheaper: compare your dates, guest count, bed layout and cancellation terms.

MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Asakusa

This is a separate SUITES property, not MIMARU Tokyo Asakusa Station. Its official room list and MIMARU’s laundry FAQ identify in-room washer-dryers throughout the property.

  • Room to compare: Two-Bedroom Suite, 60 m², with four single beds and an advertised adult capacity of four. Other suite categories have different layouts.
  • Laundry: in-room washer-dryer; all rooms at this property.
  • Kitchen: IH hob, refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, cookware, tableware and dining area.
  • Choose it for: a kitchen and private laundry alongside two bedrooms.
  • Booking check: select the bedroom and bed layout you need. The 60 m² figure describes the named Two-Bedroom Suite, not every room in the building.

The separate bedrooms are a concrete reason to consider this property when members of a group keep different bedtimes. They do not establish a soundproofing or sleep-quality guarantee. See the Asakusa hotel-base guide to decide whether the neighborhood fits the rest of your itinerary.

Official Asakusa room and equipment details

MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Nihombashi

Nihombashi also puts a washer-dryer in every room. It belongs in the same equipment group as SUITES Asakusa, but its room sizes and layouts are its own.

  • Room to compare: Two-Bedroom Suite, 57 m², with four single beds and an advertised adult capacity of four.
  • Laundry: in-room washer-dryer; all rooms at this property.
  • Kitchen: IH hob, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, utensils, tableware and dining area.
  • Choose it for: a two-bedroom layout with cooking and laundry in the room.
  • Booking check: Two-Bedroom Family Suite is a different category with a different bed arrangement and capacity. Match the exact name to your reservation.

Choose between the Asakusa and Nihombashi properties by layout and neighborhood, then compare like-for-like rates. The presence of a kitchen and washer-dryer does not establish a price order between them.

MIMARU Tokyo Station East

Station East is the clearest example of why the room name matters. It has kitchens throughout the property, but private laundry is restricted to categories with “Suite” in the name.

  • Room to compare: Two-Bedroom Suite, 58 m², with four single beds and an advertised adult capacity of four.
  • Laundry: in-room washer-dryer in Suite categories. Two-Bedroom Apartment and Two-Bedroom Family Apartment are explicitly listed without an in-room washer-dryer; shared coin laundry is available.
  • Kitchen: IH hob, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, utensils, tableware and dining area.
  • Choose it for: a specified Suite category when both appliances are essential.
  • Booking check: “Two-Bedroom” alone is insufficient. Two-Bedroom Suite and Two-Bedroom Apartment are different products.

MIMARU Tokyo Ikebukuro follows the same “Suite” name rule in the official laundry FAQ. Other standard Tokyo MIMARU properties should be checked for shared laundry rather than assumed to have private machines. Do not extend the SUITES equipment rule to the entire brand.

MONday Apart Premium UENO

The UENO property’s official guest-room equipment list includes a kitchen and a washing machine with a drying function. Its FAQ describes laundry inside the room and supplies of single-use detergent.

  • Room scope: guest-room equipment is listed at property level across its room categories; capacity and bedding vary by category.
  • Laundry: in-room washing machine with drying function, using the operator’s terminology.
  • Kitchen: IH cooking facilities, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, tableware and dining table are on the guest-room equipment list.
  • Choose it for: cooking and laundry in the room without needing a specific laundry-equipped upgrade.
  • Booking check: compare fixed beds, futons and the permitted guest count on the exact room page. An appliance list does not tell you how your group will sleep.

The hotel distinguishes equipment provided in the room from items available to borrow. Read those headings carefully; an optional rental item is not automatically included. The Ueno hotel-base guide covers the wider area decision.

MONday Apart Premium HAMAMATSUCHO

HAMAMATSUCHO’s official FAQ likewise places the washing machine with drying function inside the room and lists kitchen facilities, a microwave and tableware. Check this branch’s own room list rather than transferring a UENO room name or occupancy limit to it.

  • Room scope: room equipment applies across the property’s categories; book the category that fits your bedding requirements.
  • Laundry: in-room washing machine with drying function; single-use detergent is described in the FAQ.
  • Kitchen: the property equipment list includes IH cooking facilities, refrigerator, microwave, cookware and tableware.
  • Choose it for: private laundry and cooking when this part of Tokyo fits your stay.
  • Booking check: housekeeping, arrival instructions and cancellation terms are separate from the equipment specification. Read the terms for your selected plan.

If airport access is part of your decision, compare the location with the Hamamatsucho, Daimon and Takeshiba guide. Being based in this area does not establish that an early airport train will suit your flight.

Tokyu Stay Ginza — Residential Double

The Residential Double, 25 m² for two guests, is the category to book if you need both appliances at Tokyu Stay Ginza. Its equipment row lists a washer-dryer, kitchenette and microwave.

  • Laundry: in-room washer-dryer in Residential Double.
  • Kitchen: kitchenette and microwave; the room-equipment note associates an electric cooker with kitchenette-equipped rooms.
  • Choose it for: two people who want this combination at the Ginza branch.
  • Booking check: Moderate, Superior Double and Executive Double list a washer-dryer and microwave but no kitchenette. Superior Twin has a microwave and is explicitly excluded from the washer-dryer provision.

The hotel’s general room-equipment inventory is not a promise that every category contains every item. Read the category row and its footnotes together. This matters particularly when a booking site uses a shortened room name.

Official Ginza room categories

Tokyu Stay Shibuya — Standard Double and larger categories

Tokyu Stay Shibuya’s current room list shows a washer-dryer, kitchenette and microwave for all six listed categories. That includes Standard Double; a Residential label is not required at this branch.

  • Room to compare: Standard Double, 20 m² for two guests.
  • Larger named options: Residential Family, 40 m² for four guests; Residential Family Bunk Bed, 47 m² for six guests.
  • Laundry: in-room washer-dryer in each currently listed category.
  • Kitchen: kitchenette and microwave, with an electric cooker specified for kitchenette-equipped rooms.
  • Choose it for: this equipment combination on the Shibuya side of Tokyo.
  • Booking check: Tokyu Stay Shibuya is a distinct property from Shibuya Shin-minamiguchi and Shibuya Ebisu. Check the address as well as the brand.

The equipment list settles whether cooking and laundry facilities are present. It does not tell you how much counter space you will have for a particular meal. Review the room photographs and ask about cookware if you need a specific pan or appliance.

Read kitchen and laundry labels carefully

Washer-dryer means the hotel describes equipment that can wash and dry. MONday uses “washing machine with drying function.” Neither description promises a separate tumble dryer, a particular drying capacity, or a load finished by a certain time. Check the instructions on the machine; leave enough time before checkout to complete your laundry.

Kitchenette is a label, not a standard inventory. At the Tokyu Stay rooms above, the category’s kitchenette icon and the electric-cooker note establish cooking equipment beyond a microwave. If you need a rice cooker, oven, freezer space or cookware for a specific recipe, get a property-specific answer before booking.

MIMARU and MONday publish longer equipment inventories, but a longer list does not prove that every kitchen has more counter space than every kitchenette. Compare actual equipment and layout. Check what you need for your first grocery shop rather than assuming oil, salt or sauces will be waiting.

Shared coin laundry can still meet your needs. Its practical difference is that the machines are outside your room and may be in use by other guests. Confirm opening hours, payment method, detergent and drying arrangements at the property you select.

Room equipment

Before you pay

  1. Save the exact property and room name. Keep a copy of the room-equipment row alongside your booking confirmation.
  2. Separate three requirements: a hob for cooking, a private washer, and a drying function. Check each one rather than accepting “apartment facilities.”
  3. Match bedding to the whole group. Floor area and maximum occupancy do not identify the number of fixed beds or which guests use futons or bunks.
  4. Read housekeeping and plan terms. These properties use different cleaning schedules. Tokyu Stay’s published room pages describe simple cleaning on request and weekly room cleaning for stays of seven nights or more; do not assume daily full cleaning.
  5. Compare total stays under the same conditions. Use identical dates, guest counts, cancellation terms and included services. There is no verified cheapest brand in this comparison.

FAQ

Does every MIMARU room have a washer-dryer?

No. SUITES Asakusa and SUITES Nihombashi have them in all rooms. Station East and Ikebukuro limit private machines to rooms with “Suite” in the name. Other Tokyo properties should be checked for shared laundry using the official FAQ and their own facilities pages.

Which room should I book at Tokyu Stay Ginza?

Residential Double is the category listing both a kitchenette and washer-dryer. A microwave in another category does not mean a cooking hob is included, and Superior Twin has no washer-dryer.

Can a kitchen-equipped room meet a dietary requirement?

It lets you prepare food, but it does not establish allergen-free cookware, cleaning procedures or the absence of cross-contact. Ask the property about any equipment or cleaning requirement that is essential to your stay.

Will the room be fully cleaned every day?

Check the property’s current housekeeping policy. Appliance provision and cleaning frequency are separate questions. Confirm linen changes, towels, rubbish collection and any additional cleaning charges for your selected stay.

How should I compare prices?

Compare live rates for the exact qualifying room, dates and number of guests. Keep cancellation and meal conditions consistent. This guide does not establish a fixed price hierarchy between Tokyu Stay, MONday Apart and MIMARU SUITES.
